Jeremiah 49:5-7

New International Version

⁵ I will bring terror on you
    from all those around you,”
declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.
“Every one of you will be driven away,
    and no one will gather the fugitives.^(A)

⁶ “Yet afterward, I will restore^(B) the fortunes of the Ammonites,”
declares the Lord.

“Is there no longer wisdom in Teman?^(F)
    Has counsel perished from the prudent?
    Has their wisdom decayed?
